GOD'S WORD

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man

of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

- May We Always Remember to Trust in God’s Plan for Us -

Good morning to all of my Brothers and Sisters who are reading my devotional this morning! I want to start off my devotional today talking about the four trumpets in Revelation 8. The four trumpets are a powerful reminder of the power of God and His ability to protect us!"

Today, I want to you talk about the power of the first, second, third, and fourth trumpets mentioned in the book of Revelation. In this passage, we learn that these trumpets are a call to action for us to remember the Lord’s protection over us.

First, we must remember that the Lord is in control. In Revelation 8:7-8, it says, “The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.” This passage serves as an important reminder that God is in control and that we must trust Him regardless of what is happening around us.

Second, we must remember that we have a purpose. In Revelation 8:13, it says, “Then I looked, and I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: ‘Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!’” This passage serves as an important reminder that we all have a purpose and that we should strive to fulfill it.

Third, we must remember to be steadfast in our faith. In Revelation 8:15-16, it says, “Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.’” This passage serves as an important reminder that we must remain steadfast in our faith in order to be successful.

Finally, we must remember to stay hopeful. In Revelation 8:17-19, it says, “The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘It is done!’ Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake.” This passage serves as an important reminder that we must stay hopeful even in times of tribulation and remain steadfast in our faith in order to see God’s plans come to fruition.

So today, let us remember the power of the first, second, third, and fourth trumpets mentioned in Revelation 8—a powerful reminder that God is in control and that we must trust Him regardless of what is happening around us. As the Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6,Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.May we always remember to trust in God’s plan for us, even when we don’t understand it.
