 Good morning My Brothers and Sisters and God bless you all. Let me begin with an old man and a tree stomp. This is the story of a kind, old man who had a deep love for the outdoors. He would often go for walks in the forest and enjoy the beauty of nature. One day, as he was walking, he came across an old tree stump and he decided to sit down and rest. As he sat, he thought about all that had happened in his life, all the changes he had seen over the years, and all the people who had come and gone.

He thought about how much he had changed over time, and how much the world had changed around him. He thought about the fragility of life and how quickly it can all come to an end. He thought about what he was going to do with the rest of his life. 

This old man, sitting on the tree stump in the forest, looked up at the sky and took a deep breath. In that moment, he realized something that changed his life forever: no matter what life throws at you, no matter how hard things get, you must never give up. You must never give in to despair or fear; you must always keep fighting and never stop striving for your goals. 

My Brothers and Sisters, this is a lesson that we can all take to heart. We all face difficulties and struggles in our lives, but we must never give up. We must keep fighting, keep striving, keep pushing forward, no matter what life throws at us. 

The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:24 “Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord holds him by the hand”. We must remember that no matter how hard life gets, God is holding us by the hand and will never let us go. We can trust in Him to guide us through any difficulty or struggle we face. 

We also need to remember that no matter what happens in life, our past does not define us. We all have our own unique stories and experiences, but we must never let them define who we are. We must learn from our mistakes and use them as a steppingstone to a brighter future. 

Lastly, we must remember to always be grateful for all of the blessings in our lives. We must take time to appreciate the little things and be thankful for all of the good things that happen to us. We must also remember to be kind to others and help those in need whenever we can. 

My Brothers and Sisters, no matter what life throws at you, don’t ever give up. Take a deep breath, look up at the sky, and keep fighting for your goals. As the old man on the tree stump said: “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning how to dance in the rain”.
