That’s a lot like what we find in Ezekiel 15-16. In these passages, God tells Ezekiel that in order to be saved, the Israelites need to have faith. Without faith, the Israelites are doomed to destruction.
Today, I want to talk about how we can find faith and hope in these passages, and how we can put that faith into action in our own lives.
First, we must remember that God is always with us, no matter where we are. In ` God tells us that while the Israelites have strayed from Him, He will never abandon them. He will never leave them alone in their struggles. This is true for us as well. No matter how far we wander from God, He will never abandon us. We can always turn to Him for guidance and support.
Second, we must remember that faith is a choice. In Ezekiel 16, God challenges the Israelites to make a choice: to either turn back to Him or to continue on their own path. This is true for us as well. We can choose to have faith in God’s promises or we can choose to reject them. It’s up to us to make the right choice.
Third, we must remember that faith is an action. In both Ezekiel 15 and 16, God tells the Israelites that their faith must be put into action. We must do more than just believe in God; we must also live out our faith in the world around us. We must put our faith into action through our words and deeds.
My Friends, faith is not an easy thing to have. But if we remember that God is always with us and that faith is both a choice and an action, then we will be able to find hope and peace in the midst of our struggles. So, let’s make a commitment today to choose faith and to put it into action in our lives. As the old saying goes, “Faith without works is dead.” Let’s not let our faith die; let’s put it into action and strive for a life of abundance and hope.
