GOD'S WORD

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth,

 and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Romans 10:8 KJV

"He will bring you home."
November 21, 2023

Good morning, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Today I want to talk to you about a very important topic: 8th apostasy, 7th servitude: 40 years to Philistia. To start off, I want to tell you a story about a man I once knew.

This man had been a faithful servant of God for many years. He followed God's commands and devoted his life to Him. One day, this man decided to take a break from his routine and go on a journey. He found himself in a strange land, and the people there did not follow the same faith as he did. He was tempted to give in to the ways of the people in that land, and for a while, he did.

But soon, this man realized that he had been away from God for far too long and he wanted to return. He began his journey back to his faith and his God, and this journey took him 40 years. Just like the Israelites, who were taken into servitude in Philistia after their 8th apostasy, this man had to suffer the consequences of his actions before he could be reunited with his faith.

Now, I want to talk to you about 3 key ideas regarding 8th apostasy, 7th servitude: 40 years to Philistia. First, we must remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. Even when we are tempted by the world and taken away from our faith, God is still watching over us and guiding us back. Second, we must be mindful of the consequences of our actions. Every sin has a price, and it is important to remember that. Finally, we must remember that God is patient and merciful. He is willing to forgive our mistakes and allow us to come back into His grace.

My friends every one of us has experienced times of apostasy in our lives. But if we remember that God is always with us, that consequences always come with sin, and that God is merciful and forgiving, then we can learn from our mistakes and find our way back home. As the scripture says in Isaiah 43:2-3, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ don't let 8th apostasy lead you to 7th servitude: 40 years to Philistia; instead, turn back to God and He will bring you home.
